Kristen and Corey's wedding was in Clinton, IA on July 16th. What a beautiful day and couple! My job was made easy because there were so many great locations and happy people to photograph all day long. We started out at the Wildrose Casino which is where the reception was held, with photos of the girls getting ready. Kristen had some really cute ideas {all of the girls in the party signed the bottom of her shoes}. I had so much fun with this wedding! Congratulations Kristen and Corey!
We don’t care bout no stinkin RAIN!

If you’re planning on beautiful weather on your wedding day and you’ve hired Wiz of Oz Photography to photograph your wedding day….your odds are currently on RAIN! Amy and Kyle were married this past Saturday on an unseasonably cold day with lots of rain! Amy and Kyle had their hearts set on getting married at Schwiebert Park in Rock Island along the river, however had a church rented in case of rain….BUT WAIT….who cares about rain, cold and wind….not Kyle and Amy! They proceeded with their plan to have their wedding at Schwiebert Park with a standing room only crowd covered by umbrellas, followed by a reception at the Plumber and Pipefitters Union Hall in Rock Island with almost 400 friends and family! We had a short window to fit in some fun photographs of the wedding party and opted to do them on the Skybridge in Davenport. Other than some pre ceremony nerves which were calmed by a little jumping on the bed at the Radisson in Moline….everything turned out beautifully! Thanks so much for my backup, Shannon Colgan…to Wiz of Oz Photography’s Makeup Artist, Brittany Sedlacek who did makeup for all the girls in the wedding party and to Kyle and Amy for selecting Wiz of Oz Photography as your wedding Photographer! We had a blast! And now to some pictures…..
Alysia and Garreth's Wedding at Eagle Point Park in Dubuque, Iowa

Alysia and Garreth's wedding ceremony and reception were both held outdoors at Eagle Point Park in Dubuque, IA. The Pavillion and patio sit on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River and it's a beautiful location for an outdoor wedding.
